There are five membership categories:

• Industrial, targetted at industrial organisations and providing the highest level of services.
• Associate Industrial, targetted at SMEs and providing a case-by-case level of services.
• Associate, aimed at non-profit making institutions especially those active in EDA and/or ECSI standards activities.
• Individual, aimed at individuals who are active or interested in standards activities.
• Associate Individual, for those who wish to try out membership before subscribing higher categories.

Annual Fees:

• Industrial Member 10 000 Euros
• Associate Industrial Member 2 000 Euros
• Associate Center 1 000 Euros
• Individual Member 120 Euros
• Individual Associate Member 25 Euros

To become a member of ECSI please send us the letter of intent containing the following:

• The declaration of your (your company) interest to join ECSI.
• The statement that you (your company) will pay the appropriate membership fee upon receiving the ECSI invoice.
• The indication of the person who will represent your company at ECSI (this person will be invited to the ECSI General Assembly meetings and will represent your company in the Executive Committee if elected).

INDUSTRIAL MEMBERS

WHY SHOULD YOU JOIN ECSI?

• We need your support to continue to promote EDA standards in Europe
• You will be on the leading edge of the worldwide standardization process :
• You will also support VSI Alliance, now represented by ECSI in Europe
• If you are already a VSI member you will participate in European Review groups and take advantage of the ECSI technical team involved in VSI DWG's
• You will anticipate on future system level and IP re-use standards
• You will, for example, contribute to the definition of a standard design methodology and specification & design language (SLDL) for system on chip

ASSOCIATE INDUSTRIAL MEMBERS

Targetted at SMEs, who are entitled to nominate 3 employees getting the privileges of Individual Members, and who will be considered, on a case by case basis, as to which Industrial Member privileges they can access.

ASSOCIATE CENTERS

Any organisation shall be eligible for Associate Centre Membership in ECSI if that organisation :

(a) is responsible for research and development activities in engineering schools, universities, government agencies or under contract to government agencies where such activities are related to the development and use of electronic systems design tools and methodologies or related standards.

(b) is considered by the Executive Committee as having actions beneficial to ECSI.

INDIVIDUAL MEMBERS

Aimed at individuals who are engineers, scientists, electronic systems or circuits designers and any person whose motivation, competence or experience will be recommended by at least one ECSI member to the Executive Committee.
